Hydration Without Overthinking It
Skip the rules about exact glasses. A few simple cues do the job better than a number ever could.

The number is a distraction
The famous eight glasses a day is a rough idea at best, not a law. People differ in size, activity, climate, and the foods they eat, all of which change how much fluid they need. Chasing one fixed number turns a simple thing into a chore.
A better approach is to read your own signals and make water easy to reach. Most people who feel under-hydrated are not failing a quota. They simply forget to drink because nothing reminds them.
Lean on cues, not counting
Tie drinking to things you already do, and the habit looks after itself.
Let the day's natural rhythm carry the water along.
- A glass of water with each meal
- A glass first thing in the morning, by the kettle
- A bottle on your desk or in the car, refilled when empty
- A sip whenever you pass the kitchen tap
It does not all have to be water
Plain water is the easy default, but unsweetened tea counts, and so does the fluid in soups, fruit, and vegetables. You are not limited to a single glass with markings on it.
If you find plain water dull, a slice of lemon, a few cucumber rounds, or a herbal tea can make it something you reach for rather than endure.
Keep it simple
Notice thirst, keep a glass within reach, and drink a little more when it is hot or you have been active. That is genuinely most of it.
Naveo capsules are taken with water, which makes them an easy nudge to drink a glass at the same time each day.
